My name is Margaux Soumoy; I was born on April 4, 1996; and I am French and Belgian. Born in Nancy and raised in Meriel (city of Jean Gabin 🙃), I moved to Montreal, Canada with my family where I’ve now been living since 2012. I hold a master’s degree in film studies and have had the opportunity to work on a couple of movie sets as a script supervisor, and in the dubbing industry as a coordinator. I am also passionate about books. Achieving the dream of writing Marisa’s only existing biography made me want to build a career in the publishing world while continuing to promote cinema as an art form and field of studies. The era I am the most fascinated by and specialized in is the Golden Age of Hollywood from the 1930s to the 1950s with its studio system.
